I pretty much loved STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS.  I think these Abrams Treks are the funnest movies in ages.  The cast (Pine and Quinto are great!) and JJ’s direction are so good, they elevate the script.  This just left me wanting more TREK.
JJ and Lindelof need to get away from Kurtzman and Orci.  Yeah, I like Lindelof.  I think he’s a talented dude who, like JJ, hangs around K/O too much.  I love LOST and like PROMETHEUS* a lot, so I’m looking forward to seeing what him and Brad Bird do with TOMORROWLAND, and his new show THE LEFTOVERS.
JJ desperately needs a good script.  Give that man a good script and watch out.  He’s a very talented director.  I hope Michael Arndt delivers a great EPISODE VII script.  It could be something special.

*If you watch the behind the scenes doc on PROMETHEUS, you’ll see Ridley Scott always walking around with wine.  Lindelof did what Ridley told him to do.  That man was drunk!  lol

From EW:
The working title has been 1952, but the top secret film being developed by Disney is now unveiling its official moniker …
Tomorrowland.
The movie will definitely star George Clooney, and it is being developed by director Brad Bird (The Incredibles, The Iron Giant) and writers Damon Lindelof and Entertainment Weekly’s own Jeff “Doc” Jensen (who has been unable to breathe a word to his colleagues. Damn him.)
Last week, Lindelof and Bird began teasing a a revelation, posting images of an archive materials box labeled “1952″ on Twitter. Inside the box, which supposedly provided inspiration for the story, is a copy of the book Model Research: The National Advisory Committee For Aeronautics 1918-1958 by military history professor Alex Roland (published in 1985), and an August 1928 edition of Amazing Stories magazine, featuring a man in a flying suit on the cover — the first appearance of the time-leaping hero Buck Rogers.
There is also what appears to be some sort of 45 record, the nozzle of a small rocket engine, and a scattering of photos of Walt Disney himself.
Tomorrowland is due in theaters Dec. 19, 2014.
Update: Damon just tweeted: We won’t tell you what it’s about (yet), but we will tell you what it’s NOT about. And that would be ALIENS. #Tomorrowland

Prometheus
NEXT TIME ON…  LOST PROMETHEUSFuck this shit.  I hate sequel bait.  Say what you have to say and make a stand alone movie. But I liked it.  Not as great as I thought it’d be.  I like what Lindelof did, he isn’t bad like people such as Devin Faraci (still pissy over Lost) make him out to be.The “ALIEN” stuff seemed really forced tho, but I didn’t mind the Engineers/Jockeys.  Like Fox wouldn’t let Scott make a movie unless it was in the franchise.
First look at a Klingon from STAR TREK 2?
