7:53AM - here early for #brandx panel. No line. Alone. Hope I got the time right.
8:00AM - Ok a volunteer just confirmed: this is the right place to be for #brandx panel - me and one other man here.
8:14AM - They’ve let us in. Me and one man sitting in a room that seats 1000
8:13AM - A deranged woman wearing an ill fitting muppet shirt just ran into through the hall. Me and the man made eye contact.
8:19AM - My guess is the man here with me is a reporter/blogger. Mid 50s, bald, obese… He looks exhausted.
8:24AM - 4 other people (a family maybe?) just came in.
8:27AM - Family asked me if this was the adventuretown panel. Told them it was #brandx panel - they left. Now just me and the man again.
8:28AM - 3 marketing types standing in the back as well.
8:30AM - Lights dimmed! Slash’s theme song playing very loud!
8:32AM - Oh wow! Matt is rolling a HUGE cage out. There is a man (presume its Russ) inside covered in black cloth.
8:34AM - Russ has revealed himself! He’s in the cage. Pretty cool entrance. His wireless mic is not working tho.
8:35AM - Matt is having trouble opening cage. Russ is smiling and waving from inside the cage.
8:37AM - not having any luck with the lock on the cage. Russ is trying to help from inside the cage… Music blaring
8:38AM - They’re playing the first ep now as they continue to deal with cage.
8:40AM - Reporter man has just left. It’s just me now.
8:41AM - They are rolling Russ and the cage off the stage. Hmmm…
8:44AM - Aaaaand that’s that! Video stopped and volunteer came out and apologized. Panel over. Too bad. I had questions.
